Volunteer Opportunities

"I have been involved with the House for approximately 4 years. They have been rewarding years for me. There is a need in the Quad Cities for a safe place for women and children, and St Joseph's House does that - meets that need. I'm involved in specific activities of the house; I help clean when someone moves out, I help organize and put away donations, and I pick up and deliver bread to the house." - Gloria Y.

How can you help?

The volunteers at St. Joseph the Worker House are the hands and feet of this organization. They empower, love, and walk alongside women and children who are vulnerable. We believe that people using their talents to help others is one of the greatest gifts that can be given.

Cook. Clean. Shovel snow. Rake leaves. Give a ride. Take care of a child. Garden. Fix things. Serve on the board. No training is necessary, only a desire to serve.
