Four people working in the St. Joe's garden.

Peppers. Tomatoes. Zucchini. Squash.

The St. Joe's Garden, across the street from the Martha House, is a labor of love for the volunteers and guests of St. Joseph the Worker House.

Each spring, crews plant fruits, vegetables, and flowers with the hopes of feeding the neighborhood and families who are guests at Martha House and the transitional housing program. Throughout the summer, they weed, water, and harvest.

WIth donated land, this garden is a pocket of care and concern for our environment. But most importantly, it is a place where healthy, locally grown food is nurtured - right along with relationships.
